The movie starts out with King Kai and Bubbles acknowleging that the South Galaxy has been destroyed by The Legendar Super Saiyan and that the north will be next in line. King Kai telepathicly contacts Goku while he's in a interview with ChiChi to get Gohan into a private school. Meanwhile the rest of the group went for a picknic. Krillin his singing karaoke. He's so horrible, the only one who was enjoying it was Master Roshi. While Krillin is singing a space craft lands near by and an army runs out. Paragus comes out of this ship confronting Vegeta. Paragus tells Vegeta of New Vegeta and the Legendary Super Saiyan. Paragus tells Vegeta that he is the only one who can stop him. Vegeta leaves with Paragus and the others follow. They travel to New Vegeta in the space craft. Meanwhile when King Kai finishes telling Goku about the situation he apologizes to ChiChi and uses Instant Transmission to teleport to King Kai's Planet. The school administators thing Goku is somekind of magician or something.

          When Goku arrives at King Kai's place he lands on the table that both King Kai and bubbles are sitting at. He quickly gets out of the suit that he was wearing for the interview and back to his usually ki. King Kai explains how dangerous this is going to be to Goku and that the Legendary Super Saiyan might even be stronger than him. This gets Goku really excited that he might have the oppurtunity to fight a stronger opponent. But before Goku takes any action he asks King Kai for some eats. After eating, Bubbles does the cleanup and Goku trys to locate saiyan energy so he can teleport there. Goku begins to concentrate and than asks King Kai which way south his again making Bubbles drop the dishes. Goku soon feels some energy but it was very week and uses Instant Transmission to teleport there. When he gets there the planet is destroyed, nothing but rubble. But for being left for so long there was still and extrodinary amount of energy left behind.

          Meanwhile when they arrive on New Vegeta, Paragus introduces Vegeta to Brolly and tells him he his for his services. One of the soldiers report that the Legendary Super Saiyan was located on a planet near by. Vegeta takes Brolly with him. Trunks, Gohan, and Krillin go and explore the planet to fine out some pretty intresting things. They find little workers. One of the grandpas there starts coughing and his grandson aids him but only to get kicked by a soldier. This disturbs the Z Fighters. The soldier goes to kick the grandpa next but gets tossed on his back by Gohan. Than Krillin shows off his speed and the soldiers run. As Krillin continues to throw punches at the air, Goku used Instant Transmission to get to New Vegeta only to get a knuckle sandwitch right in the jaw from Krillin. It kind stuns everyone that Goku just shows up as Krillin apologizes. They learn that the workers planet was destroyed by a saiyan and was forced to work on New Vegeta for a pointless reason.

          When Vegeta and Brolly arrived back to New Vegeta, they did not find any Legendary Super Saiyan. Vegeta and Brolly went to meet Paragas to inform him of this. When Goku greeted Vegeta sitting in a window seel. Vegeta was not pleased to see him and started to talk to Paragus. Brolly started to go in a rage when he saw Goku. Paragus tried to control him but couldn't at first till finally he managed and took Brolly to his room. Paragus went to the scientist that he owned and told him to fix the the device. The scientist told Paragus that there was nothing wrong, that it is working perfectly fine. That night while the Z Fighters were sleeping, Brolly ambushed the room attacking Goku. They took the battle elsewhere and Brolly and Goku battled. As Brolly powered up he noticed that was the same power that was at the planet that he had teleported to. At this moment Paragus arrived and got Brolly under control and taking him back to his room once more.

          In the morning Vegeta decides that this is nonscense and decides he wants to go back to Earth. Paragus tries to persade him. When Vegeta gets to his ship Goku is already there doing his own thing. Goku tells Vegeta who the real Legendary Super Saiyan is, and thats none other than Brolly himself. Vegeta doesn't believe him at first but than Trunks, Gohan, and Krillin bring the little workers to tell them the truth and what they have found out about this place. Than Paragus told Vegeta what a fool he was. Vegeta finally relized he had been tricked. When Goku came out of the ship, Brolly started to go into a rage. Paragus began to tell them the story and the history up till now. When Brolly was born he had a power level of 10,000 and Goku only having a power level of 2. King Vegeta was afraid that he would become to great of a saiyan warrior and had ordered him to be killed. Paragus arrived trying to talk King Vegeta out of it but than he attacked him. Brolly's carriage was right next to Goku's. He suffered from Goku's crying. Somehow from Freeza's destruction of Planet Vegeta, Brolly had made somekind of barrier around him and his father so they could survive. As Brolly continued to grow, so did his power and rage. Paragus couldn't control him. So he got a scientist to create a device for the soul purpose to control his power. Paragus plan was to control Brolly's power so he could rule the universe. Paragus wanted Earth, a plant that is so rich. Paragus told them about the meteor that would hit New Vegeta and kill all of them if Brolly didn't.

          Brolly continues his rage and began to raise his power in doing so the device on his head was disposed of and not even Paragus could control him. The Z Fighters began to fight him except Vegeta. Vegeta was accepting death knowing there was no possible way in this world that they could defeat him. Brolly pumbled all three of GOku, Trunks, and Gohan. Brolly even destroyed the little workers home planet that they look up at so they would have nothing to look foward to. Brolly was about to kill Goku's son, Gohan with a blast. But out of nowhere comes Piccolo deflecting it with a blast of his own. Brolly called him alittle green insect. Piccolo gave Goku, Gohan, and Trunks all a senzu bean. After they regained their strength they went for round two but got pumbled once again. Piccolo talked to Vegeta and told him only the true warriors are fighting today. After this Vegeta snapped going after Brolly himself but was pretty much knocked to the side. Brolly dominated all of them. As his father Paragus aboarded his ship Brolly found him. Asking him what he was doing. Paragus told him he was getting the ship ready so they could escape the meteor. Brolly relized it was a one person pod and smashed it trapping his father so he couldn't escape. After thsi the Z Fighters were pretty much done for but Goku. They lended him their strength and powers. Vegeta refused atfirst. He didn't understand why he had to give his power to a lower rank them him. But he finally did. Brolly couldnd't understand how Goku was getting all this energy at first.

          With this when Brolly went to punch Goku, Goku grabbed his fist. The meteor was falling coming near with this Goku punched Brolly in the gut and pushed him toward it. Goku used instant transmission to teleport himself, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, Vegeta, and the little workers to the ship that Master Roshi, Krilin, and Oolong was on. They arrived to Earth safely. When Goku and Gohan arrived ChiCHi jumped from beind a sheet shouting where they have been. Goku shouted back my favorite hobbies are reading and spots. With this, ChiChi fainted. Goku nelt down and told Gohan to go get a towl and water laughing.
